釋出曼尼 總管：沒位置給他

6月返回美國加盟德州遊騎兵隊的前義大犀牛隊洋將曼尼(Manny Ramirez)， 14日遭遊騎兵隊釋出。根據大聯盟官網報導，遊騎兵隊在評估後認為，「現階段球隊並無適合他的位置」，因此將曼尼釋出。

現年41歲的曼尼，因為盼再次挑戰大連盟，6月宣布離開義大犀牛隊後，隨即回美和遊騎兵隊簽約，成為遊騎兵3A原石城特快車隊一員，前8戰曼尼就繳出3轟的表現，打擊率高達3成64。

雖然一度傳出重返大聯盟的機會大增，無奈曼尼之後打擊陷入低潮，打擊率下降到2成59，在遊騎兵3A總計108個打數，貢獻13分打點，只敲出6支長打，累積3轟。

14日遊騎兵隊也決定將他釋出，總管丹尼爾斯(Jon Daniels)表示，「經過評估之後，現階段球隊中並無適合他的位置。」

曼尼19年的大聯盟生涯，曾經12度入選明星賽，生涯打擊率為3成12，累計555轟，敲下1831分打點。2011年從光芒隊離開大聯盟後曾短暫加入運動家隊3A。2013年至中華職棒義大犀牛隊總計出賽49場，貢獻43分打點，8轟，打擊率為0.352。
