老虎「神打」 亞洲揮到歐洲

〔自由時報記者趙新天／綜合報導〕「老虎」伍茲昨天在土耳其博斯普魯斯大橋揮桿，成為史上第1位從亞洲把球打到歐洲的選手。

伍茲遠赴土耳其參加歐巡賽土耳其航空公開賽，昨天出席賽前宣傳活動時，他從橫跨亞歐大陸的博斯普魯斯大橋東岸這端揮桿，把球打向西岸，球從橋上飛越伊斯坦堡海峽，完成史上首次「跨洲揮桿」。

土耳其航空公開賽總獎金700萬美元（約台幣2億572萬元），是歐巡賽獎金最高的賽事。伍茲應邀參賽，是他最近休兵6週之後首次參加正式比賽。
