近年旅外球員陸續歸鄉，郭泓志在美拼戰14年也決定返台，最大咖的王建民仍傾向留在美國。郭董認為，每個人都有自己的選擇，他強調：「決定回來不代表自己不能打球了，而是想回來。」

選擇不同 各有目標

郭泓志過去不管在美國或在中華隊，只要受訪，一定呼籲球迷多支持中華職棒，也時時關心中職現況，他說：「回台打中華職棒，不是因為已經不行了才會回來，這對於在中職或旅外球員來說都是不公平的。我決定回來，是因為我想要，這是我從小就有的目標，現在終於願望成真，我很開心。」
王建民近年因傷困擾，始終找不回巔峰時期手感，國人都希望他回來效力中職，但郭董認為，每個人的選擇不一樣，建仔同樣有自己的目標。(記者羅惠齡)
