諾瓦完封勝 洋基繃緊搶外卡

洋基右投諾瓦(Ivan Nova)，22日扛起先發重任迎戰舊金山巨人，用108球、飆7K，投出生涯第2場完封，加上努奈茲(Eduardo Nunez)和索利安諾(Alfonso Soriano)紛紛開砲，助洋基以6比0力退巨人，美聯外卡仍保有一線生機。

拿下生涯第3場完投的諾瓦表示，每一次上場都希望自己有好表現，「要是能投出完封感覺更棒，尤其是在球隊最需要的時候。」此役諾瓦完投9局被敲6安無失分，另送出7K、1保送奪勝投。

總教頭吉拉迪(Joe Girardi)說道，「無論在攻擊或防守，大家都有貢獻力量，加上先發投手傑出的表現，這是屬於團隊的勝利。」

此役洋基3局下藉鈴木一朗的高飛犧牲打先馳得點，該局就拿下3分，4局下努奈茲也貢獻一發2分砲，將分數拉開到5比0領先，6局下索利安諾再補上陽春砲，6比0擊垮巨人。

贏得此役後，洋基距美聯外卡第2印地安人隊還有3場勝差。「索爺」索利安諾表示，「如果我們每場比賽都打得像這兩天，贏剩下7場絕非難事。但我們試著不要有太大壓力，一場場來，將今天的表現延續到明天盡力求勝。」
