【賴德剛╱桃園報導】Lamigo桃猿在多名主砲缺陣情況下，下半季還能衝到第1，甚至是奪冠大熱門，總教練洪一中也很意外，他説：「能用現在的陣容打出這種成績，我們很滿意，雖然大砲都受傷，但年輕球員腳程很快，我們會用更多打跑戰術來彌補長打。」
洪總表示，猿隊這幾年的隊形就是強攻猛打，只是林智勝、陳金鋒、陳冠任等人都受傷，雖沒了大砲，卻多了機槍，加上隊上很多選手速度不錯，所以打跑是目前主要戰術，目前為止效果也不錯。

猛德拉夠猛 賭對了

至於補強洋砲猛德拉，洪總坦承的確抱著「賭一把」想法，因猿隊球風就是攻擊，若補強投手，無法攻下分數也沒法贏球，選他是來彌補長打，雖看起來策略很成功，但洪總說：「不能只看現在，一切要等球季結束才知賭輸賭贏。」
