洋基索里安諾雙響砲，生涯第400轟到手，A-Rod連兩天開轟，敲出651號全壘打，全隊單場4轟炸裂藍鳥，以7：1獲勝，先發佩提特7局未失分，拿下本季第10勝，在美聯東區急起直追，落後領先的紅襪7.5場。
洋基全力拚戰季後賽門票，包括A-Rod、葛蘭德森和基特等傷兵陸續歸隊，戰力趨於完整，不過主力戰將卡諾昨在第一局遭藍鳥左投哈普球吻，卡諾左手腕受傷，隨即退場，雖然經檢查傷勢後，沒有太嚴重，已讓全隊嚇出冷汗，卡諾也列入每日傷兵觀察名單。（圖：路透／文：記者黃照敦）
