大聯盟球隊搭機移動，都享有快速通關禮遇，但建仔表示，從加拿大入境美國，還是像一般觀光客一樣，得接受海關盤查，沒有特別待遇。
建仔舉例，「像有次入境美國，明明就是全隊排成一排過關，海關還問我說：『你要來幹嘛的？』讓我愣了一下，不過還是跟他說：『喔，我是球隊的，要來打球。』」今年加入加拿大的藍鳥隊，建仔可能還要遇到好多次這種狀況。(記者楊逸民)
