奇德無縫接軌 執掌籃網兵符

〔自由時報記者張正邦／綜合報導〕10天前剛宣布退休，並傳出對執教相當有興趣的資深後衛奇德，昨天籃網證實成為他們新任總教練，兩造簽下3年合約，奇德近似「無縫接軌」延續另一階段的籃球生涯。

奇德曾於2001至2008年效力籃網，期間平均14.6分、7.2籃板、9.1助攻，並於2002和2003年率隊闖進總冠軍賽。

奇德執掌籃網兵符，和私交甚篤的主力控衛威廉斯之間互動引人注目，即使外界有風聲認為奇德執教名氣大於實力，仍獲得籃網高層認可。籃網於季後賽首輪出局，沒有續約代總教練卡列西摩，成為今年季外撤換總教練的12支球隊之一。

除籃網外，老鷹、國王、活塞、騎士、快艇、公鹿、山貓、七六人、金塊、太陽與灰熊先後與原總教練分道揚鑣，12位總教練去職也超越2003年的11人，創下NBA史上單一季外最多總教練離職的紀錄。
