【陳國偉╱綜合報導】WPA(World Pool-Billiard Association，世界撞球總會)昨於上海公開賽冠軍戰前夕，進行2012年度最佳球員頒獎儀式，台灣「火雲邪神」張榮麟與英國的K.費雪(Kelly Fisher)，各獲得一只價值9600元人民幣(約4.7萬台幣)的運動腕錶。
WPA從去年開始設立年度最佳球員獎項，主要各項國際賽事累積的積分排名為依據，張榮麟去年11月登上世界第1而獲獎，K.費雪去年則包辦9號球世錦賽與中國公開賽冠軍，榮登球后。
張榮麟本屆中國公開賽止於16強，不過推估仍是球王，至於原本世界第5的傅哲偉，昨獲亞軍，預估將衝上世界第2，不過最後積分排名，仍須WPA最後公布確認。
