老爹轟滿貫砲 老虎教頭自責

紅襪在美聯冠軍賽上演精彩逆轉秀，「老爹」David Ortiz在8局下半石破天驚的滿貫砲絕對是關鍵。

面對老虎終結者Joaquin Benoit所投出的第1球，Ortiz一口氣將小白球轟出右外野全壘打牆，紅襪頓時追平比數。

正所謂贏球功勞歸球員，輸球責任教練扛，老虎總教練Jim Leyland十分明白這道理。

「我犯了很嚴重的錯誤，我願意為輸球負全部責任。」Leyland在接受《ESPN》採訪時表示。

Leyland認為自己沒有盡到提點選手的責任：「我應該要適時提醒Benoit的，提醒他我們不想被Ortiz打敗。」

老虎牛棚原有左投手Phil Coke正在熱身，Coke生涯面對Ortiz表現出色，18次打數僅被擊出2次安打，但Coke才傷癒歸隊不久，也因此Leyland最後做出讓Benoit提前登板的決定。

「Coke有一陣子沒在這種大場面比賽中投球了。」Leyland對此關鍵調度表示：「Benoit對付左打者的能力也很棒，而我們當時都覺得他最有機會拿下出局數。」

慘遭逆轉，Leyland仍對接下來的比賽有信心：「我們不會讓第2戰的結果影響我們，就像紅襪沒被第1戰勝負影響一樣。」

美聯冠軍賽第3戰將在台灣時間16日凌晨4點於底特律主場舉行。
