林書豪超高人氣 亞洲變主場

展開亞洲行且已抵達菲律賓的火箭隊，昨全隊擺脫時差困擾積極投入訓練。林書豪表示，希望10日在馬尼拉與13日在台北都能得到球迷支持，讓火箭在擁有主場優勢下迎戰溜馬。

在美國吹起「林來瘋」旋風之後，林書豪在亞洲的人氣水漲船高，所到之處皆有大批球迷緊貼身旁，雖是首度造訪菲律賓，但向來對籃球瘋狂的菲律賓民眾，為親眼看到林書豪，從機場到球隊下榻飯店都擠滿人潮。

林書豪強調，此行既緊張又興奮，尤其是台灣有很多親友和朋友，已迫不及待想在家鄉父老面前獻技，絕不會讓球迷失望。

《休士頓紀事報》專欄作家費根表示，火箭球員經過19小時長途飛行顯得疲憊，不過，在體能訓練師瓊斯協助下利用慢跑、舒展筋骨等方式調整時差，現在看起來已恢復得差不多了。

火箭這趟為期1周的亞洲之旅特別讓球隊大廚羅密歐隨隊。瓊斯強調，原本安排球員1天3餐，現改為1天4餐，目的在於球員需要保持充沛體力與水分，才能避免在熱身賽造成運動傷害。

至於火箭有意在新球季讓霍華搭配阿西克/瓊斯組成雙塔陣容，費根撰文表示，例行賽看到霍華和阿西克同時在場的機會可能不高，反倒是由機動性更高的莫提尤納斯與霍華搭檔更為適合。
