效力太空人的羅嘉仁連2天登板，繼7日無失分，羅嘉仁8日再度繳出漂亮成績單，主投1局僅用6球讓對手三上三下，可惜隊友無法在最後半局搶分，太空人最後仍以1比2輸球。

兩隊先發投手都展現不錯的壓制力，不過在低比分的戰局，運動家靠主砲塞佩達斯(Yoenis Cespedes)及羅瑞(Jed Lowrie)陽春砲率先打下2比0優勢。

在運動家先發投手史崔利(Dan Straily)的壓制下，太空人7局僅有2安打成績，球隊在他退場後展開反攻，8局上靠野手選擇拚出1分，但也因盜壘遭阻殺錯失再添分機會。

追到1分差，太空人派羅嘉仁登板欲緊咬戰局，羅嘉仁球速雖不見過去95英哩，但他僅用6球就讓對手三上三下無失分退場，面對運動家後段棒次，「羅」沒有三振紀錄，接連讓對手敲出右、左、中外野飛球接殺。

羅嘉仁好投提供球隊反攻機會，無奈打線最後半局熄火，9局上僅有奧圖夫(Jose Altuve)敲出安打。

羅嘉仁3日比賽在最後半局被雙城打者轟滿貫砲後，防禦率一度飆升至5.25，休息3天後，連出賽2場，合計2局無失分，雖然三振數僅1，但沒有四壞保送紀錄，用球數也精簡不少，防禦率下修到4.50。
