〔自由時報記者邱燕玲／台北報導〕行政院院會昨通過褒揚資深棒球教練徐生明案，將提請總統褒揚。行政院表示，徐生明終其一生，對推動國內棒球運動發展及培育選手不遺餘力，並於擔任國家代表選手及率隊參加國際賽事期間，屢獲佳績，使我國棒球實力受到國際棒壇矚目，對我國棒球運動貢獻卓著，實為我國棒壇之楷模，足堪褒揚。
