中華隊借球具 巴基斯坦致謝

「非常感謝中華隊借我們球棒，」巴基斯坦領隊阿里(Syed Fakhar Ali)表示。中華隊18日得知巴國唯一一支球棒不合規定，特地在巴基斯坦第2場比賽賽前借予2支球棒。領隊不僅相當感激，也認為台灣棒球軟硬體都相當純熟，更希望台灣有人才能到巴基斯坦教球。

第2屆少棒賽開打當天，巴基斯坦就因球棒、手套短缺，和對手韓國隊共用球棒；中華隊得知這項消息，隔天就借2支球棒供巴基斯坦對上美國時使用，領隊阿里對此也非常感謝。

阿里表示，棒球在巴基斯坦還在推廣階段，技術與資源都相當缺乏，因此才出現借球棒、手套的情形。除了中華隊出借球棒，該隊翻譯也借出自己的手套給球員使用。

領隊認為台灣棒球發展歷史久，無論球場硬體設施、球團管理或技術方面相當優秀，相較於巴基斯坦推動棒球只有寥寥幾人，阿里也覺得台灣球員非常幸福，希望未來也有棒球人才能到巴基斯坦教學，相信國內球員能學得更多更快。
