魔獸嘴甜誇豪「跟我絕配」

〔自由時報記者陳筱琳／綜合報導〕火箭昨天召開記者會歡迎「魔獸」豪爾德加入，總經理莫雷再次強調，不會因簽下豪爾德而交易控衛林書豪、中鋒亞席克。

莫雷表示，林書豪屬攻擊型後衛，與豪爾德會是好搭檔，而亞席克的防守更是球隊需要的戰力，「實際上，哈登、豪爾德都想和林書豪及亞席克一同作戰，林和亞席克絕對會留在休士頓。」

豪爾德也說：「亞席克、林書豪一定能跟我搭配得很好，我會盡我所能讓隊友更棒，也清楚他們對這支球隊有多重要。」

火箭前球星歐拉朱萬、姚明都出席記者會，加上約萬名球迷送上歡呼，豪爾德感受到休士頓對他的熱情歡迎，直言感覺超棒，他開心地說：「這對我很重要，我一整天都沒吃東西，但感覺很飽，因為大家讓我心中充滿喜悅，感覺不到飢餓。」
