撂倒球后小威 艾薩蘭卡摘冠

（法新社俄亥俄州辛辛那提18日電） 白俄羅斯好手艾薩蘭卡今天在WTA辛辛那提網賽女單決賽，以2比6、6比2、7比6（8/6）撂倒世界球后美國的小威廉絲封后，強勢迎接美國網球公開賽（US Open）。

大會第2種子艾薩蘭卡（Victoria Azarenka）下午比賽狀態慢熱，不到30分鐘就在發出兩個雙發失誤情況下輸掉首盤。

但她之後穩定下來找回手感，鏖戰2個半小時後成功擊敗頭號種子小威廉絲（Serena Williams），拿下兩人15次交手以來第3勝，也是今年第2度打敗對方。

首捧辛辛那提網賽冠軍的艾薩蘭卡說：「人是會愈挫愈勇。」她說：「這是場硬仗，我們倆都很努力應戰。這週對我來說很不可思議。」

小威賽後則說：「她最後2盤非常積極進攻，氣勢大逆轉。」小威還說：「她是很棒的選手，這也是為何她能贏得大滿貫賽且表現這麼好。」（譯者：中央社盧映孜）
